BEHAVIOR SUPPORT TRAINING AND CONSULTATION POSITIVE BEHAVIOR SUPPORTS & CRISIS INTERVENTION (PBS-CI)  The core PBS-CI class is an intensive one-day training that teaches skills to maintain a POSITIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT and safely manage CRISIS SITUATIONS. The training is most appropriate for classroom teachers and aides, residential and vocational support staff, program managers, and line supervisors. The training content is meaningful to any age or developmental level where challenging behaviors can disrupt the environment and create risks to self and others. Content is adaptable to specific needs or policies of a service provider or setting. IN-HOUSE TRAINERS PROGRAM An In-House Trainers Program is available to apply the PBS-CI curriculum throughout a provider agency or school district. This three-day training prepares select individuals on your staff to provide on-going Positive Behavior Supports & Crisis Intervention pre-service and in-service training. Interagency collaboration is encouraged to enhance cost effectiveness.   CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS FOR SOCIAL WORK AND ODMR/DD CERTIFICATIONS ARE APPROVED.
