Physical Therapy for Adults The first visit will require an initial Physical Therapy evaluation. This evaluation will help create an individualized treatment program designed to meet individual specific needs. This initial evaluation may include the following areas:
Treatment will include activities focusing on the improvement of limitations in the above areas along with management of equipment and/or bracing needs, establishing home activities and exercise programs. Our Physical Therapist will help with flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination and/or balance difficulties. Physical Therapy for Children Physical Therapy services for children include working with children and their families to assist each child in reaching their maximum potential to function independently and to promote health and wellness. Pediatric physical therapy facilitates motor development and function, improves strength and endurance, enhances learning opportunities and eases challenges with daily caregiving. Our staff provide consultation and training to parents, home care providers, school systems and other service providers.
This service is available for individuals of all ages. Although our therapists specialize in serving people with developmental disabilities, a DD diagnosis is not required. A Physicians prescription may be needed for certain services. |
